The 2011 Mercedes SLK promotional video leak out
The best laid plans of mice and men…and car makers. Mercedes has been busy teasing us with bits of the 2011 Mercedes SLK (or probably 2012 Mercedes SLK if you’re on the other side of the Pond) for quite a while. We had the ‘Feature’ shot of the ‘Magic Sky Control‘ roof which looks a greeat feature, but turns out to be an optional extra.
Autodesk presented its latest webinar, ‘Seamless data preparation pipeline in VRED Professional' on 15 May. This is latest edition of a series of eight free webinars via CDN throughout 2013, explaining user techniques and introducing new features from its suite of automotive design software. The webinar was presented by Claudio Bräuer, an SQA engineer and VRED trainer at Autodesk.

Taking the metro to the Frankfurt motor show, I was surrounded by men whose grey suits, lapel badges and reading matter made it obvious they were car company execs heading the same way. In previous years they probably had access to the fleets of chauffeur-driven cars that used to clog the town as they shuttled from airport to exhibition hall to hotel. But Frankfurt, like every other motor show, finds itself in reduced circumstances this year. The Paris and Frankurt shows alternate, and the comparison with Paris this time last year is instructive.
